Sherwin-Williams beat competitors as the most valuable paint brand, valued at US$7.5 billion.
American company Sherwin-Williams (brand value down 5% to $7.5 billion) is the world’s most valuable paint brand for the second year in a row, according to a new ranking by the world’s leading independent brand valuation consultant Brand Finance. Sherwin-Williams maintains its No. 1 position as selling prices rise and the brand’s production volumes increase. Despite a slight decrease in brand value compared to last year, Sherwin-Williams still dominates the Paints 10 2023 rankings, with brand value nearly double that of the next most valuable brand, PPG (brand value up 141% to 3.8 billion US dollars).
Each year, the leading brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance tests the top 5,000 brands and publishes over 100 reports ranking brands across all sectors and countries. The top 10 most valuable and strongest Paints brands in the world are included in the Brand Finance Paints 10 2023 annual ranking.
